Korean Wave in the Garden explores the relationship between Korean tradition and contemporary culture within a lakeside park setting. A minimal bright pink pavilion, inspired by traditional forms, becomes a landmark by day and a glowing frame by night.
이 한류 정원은 호숫가 공원이라는 맥락에서 한국의 전통과 현대 문화의 관계를 탐구한다. 미니멀한 핑크색 정자는 전통적 형태로부터 영감을 받아 낮에는 랜드마크로, 밤이면 빛나는 형체로 변화한다.
The design draws from bojagi textiles, translating their geometry and colors into fluid, non-hierarchical planting patterns. A multi-layered landscape includes an Amelanchier tree, an intimate contemplative space with rocks and Korean firs, and several circular planting areas expressing diversity through color and species.
정원 디자인은 보자기 직조 형태에서 시작된 것으로, 기하학적 구성과 색상을 유연하고 비위계적인 식재 패턴으로 전환시켰다. 다층적 경관 속에는 채진목, 암석과 구상나무가 있는 명상적 공간, 여러 원형의 식재 공간이 포함되어 색채와 수종으로 다양성을 표현한다.
With open, free circulation, the garden becomes a dynamic and immersive environment—both a place to gather and a contemporary cultural statement.
자유롭게 펼쳐진 동선을 가진 정원은 역동적이고 몰입적인 환경으로 변하며, 만남의 장소이자 동시대 문화적 함의의 장소가 된다.
